The Town of Newfield recently received funds from New York State for septic and sewer lateral replacements. The funds from this grant will be used for the upgrade of substandard septic systems for single-family, owner-occupied properties and 1–4 unit rental properties, located within the boundaries of the Newfield Sewer District.
Occupants must be low-to-moderate in income, as per the table below, and the property’s septic system must be in need of replacement. Other requirements apply.
