The Planning Board typically meets at 7:00 pm the first Wednesday of every month at the Newfield Town Hall.  All meetings are recorded via the Zoom meeting function.

Privilege of the Floor Rules

Most Planning Board meetings are working sessions during which Planning Board members review current initiatives and discuss potential new projects. The public may comment on these initiatives and/or bring new concerns to meetings during “Privilege of the Floor,” which is always on meeting agendas for the beginning and end of each meeting.  

To ensure the Planning Board can effectively and efficiently complete their work during monthly meetings, the public may only address the Board during Privilege of the Floor and at no other time during their meeting. Speakers are limited to a maximum of five (5) minutes during each Privilege of the Floor portion of the meeting. Please read the complete Privilege of the Floor Rules.
