A free program for residents with private drinking water wells

Do you know how to care for, protect, and maintain your private well? Find out how to ensure the safety and purity of your drinking water.
A panel of experts from the Tompkins County Health Department, the Community Science Institute, and Cornell Cooperative Extension will answer your questions and cover: how private wells work, how to protect and maintain your well, how contamination occurs, water testing, and solutions to common problems.
Participants will also receive a $5 discount coupon for certified testing of their water for total coliform/E.coli bacteria.
Free and open to the public. Registration requested due to limited space and to ensure sufficient materials for all.
