The Newfield Fire Department has proudly served the Newfield community since 1917. It provides fire protection as well as emergency medical care to Newfield and other surrounding towns.

Solid Waste Disposal
There are two private hauling businesses that service Newfield. Trash tags are REQUIRED by both, and you must contract with them directly for pickup.

Pick-up is every other Tuesday. Containers should be at the curb by 6:00 a.m..

Christmas Tree Disposal – the town does not offer any type of tree disposal. You are encouraged to compost your trees. Please do not burn trees or yard waste without first consulting the local burn laws.
During national and state elections, the Newfield Firehall is the polling place. Local elections are held at the elementary school at 247 Main Street.
