NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TOWN OF NEWFIELD WATER DISTRICT NO. 1 AND WATER DISTRICT NO. 2 IMPROVEMENTS
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board (the “Town Board”) of the Town of Newfield (the “Town”), Tompkins County, New York, by resolution dated August 11, 2022 ordered that a public hearing be conducted at a meeting of said Town Board to be held on September 1, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, 166 Main Street, Newfield, New York 14687 to consider whether it is in the public interest to approve the hereinafter described project:
The Town Board is considering increasing the estimated maximum cost of certain improvements to the Town’s Water District No. 1 and Water District No. 2, including the amount of any serial bonds authorized to be issued in connection therewith, as further described in a certain engineering report as prepared by Hunt Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors & Landscape Architect DPC, dated September 2020 and as revised in October 2021 (the “Project”), a copy of which is on file in the office of the Town Clerk, to $6,401,698.
All persons interested in the aforementioned Project, and the subject matter thereof, are invited to attend.
